Biography: Alexa earned her Bachelors of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona and her Masters of Science in Genetic Counseling from Long Island University. Alexa is especially passionate about cancer genetics and currently works at the University of Arizona Cancer Center in Tucson, Arizona, where she is one of only three cancer genetic counselors in all of Tucson. Alexa has had the opportunity to work alongside genetic counselors from several different specialties which has given her the experience to be able to counsel in the most specialities of genetics. She is excited to be a part of the Grey Genetics team so that she can help interpret everybody’s genetic risks, even if they do not have access to an in-person genetic counselor.
