Biography: Jasmine has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at University of California, Davis, a Master of Science degree in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College and is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling, Inc. She is a member of the New York State Genetics Task Force and the National Society of Genetic Counselors. At the 2020 annual NSGC conference, she is presenting a poster on her research exploring services received, healthcare providers involved, and patient satisfaction in regards to primary care for rare disease patients.
Jasmine greatly values her role in being a part of an individual’s health care team to assess their genetic risk by providing informative, unbiased support and genetic education for those that have unclear genetic test results or are interested in getting genetic testing/education. She can help provide genetic testing for either personalized rare disease risk or for preconception knowledge about offspring disease risk. She is passionate about providing healthcare to individuals worldwide of all cultures, races, ethnicities, religions, and socioeconomic statuses.
Outside of clinic, she enjoys exploring New York where she lives with her partner and Siberian Husky, rock climbing, crafting, and visiting her family in San Francisco, California.
